Synthotech enjoyed two great days supporting Northern Gas Networks on their NGN Construction Services Stand Down Day
NGN invited all of their Construction Services Colleagues to a ‘Stand Down’ two day event held at Harrogate Pavilions.
The theme for the event was “Staying Alive” and provided operatives and sub-contractors with the opportunity to meet suppliers and see what new technology is available within the Gas/Utilities industry.
The operatives and Owners were split into 3 groups and spent time at various workshops including a Customer and Control Hub Workshop, an Occupational Health and Safe Dig Tools Workshop and spent time looking around the supplier stands to learn more about new innovation projects and techniques.
It was great to meet up with existing customers and potential new customers to share new techniques and innovative equipment to help DSP’s in their day to day work.
Synthotech’s stand featured the award winning Water Extraction Systems (WExTech) for live gas mains and services. This NIA funded product was developed in collaboration with Northern Gas Networks to locate the source of water ingress, remove water and recycle gas back into the main leading to a reduction in excavations and impact on the consumer.
